I am directed by the Board of Trude to kanomit, herewith, a copy of a letter which they have received from Me A Kehren, asking for assistance in obtaining payment of
of fifteen pounds, which he states was promised him at
Hong Kong as Compensation for the loss of his clothes at the wreck of the "Ben Ledi", and for services pendered to the Chinese Government.
